Fertility Preservation

Egg freezing, or oocyte cryopreservation, offers women the opportunity to preserve their fertility until they are ready to grow their family. During this process, medications are used to grow the follicles (eggs), which are then retrieved under sedation and preserved (frozen) for future use.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

IVF creates embryo(s), which are transferred to the uterus. First, patients receive injections to stimulate growth of follicles (eggs). Then, patients undergo a minimally invasive procedure under sedation to retrieve the eggs. Finally, eggs are fertilized in the lab (“In vitro”).
